Welcome onboard the CoP for Workplace Mentoring


Hi Everyone!


Thank you for joining us in this Community of Practice (CoP) for Effective Workplace Mentoring. This CoP will be a free platform where we can make Connection, Collaborate and Celebrate success together as we bring forth change for our work force. (This CoP will remains as a free platform for all participants who had attended the Foster Effective Workplace Mentoring Learning Circle).


In making sure that this platform is a safe environment for all, may I request that as we make any postings or comments, please ensure the following:


1. Do NOT post information which are sensitive in nature related to your organisation. (You may use an example of a case study in your posting.)

2. It is ok to make mistakes and we hope that you share your journey with us so that we can learn from one another.

3. Do share with us your success story so that we can celebrate the success together with you!

4. Abusive and insensitive languages / or posting and comments will NOT be tolerated. Such posting will be taken down by the Administrator without prior notice.


It is in our vision that as our CoP grows in scale, we hope to be able to organise more interactions events that will enhance connection within the members. Till then, we look forward to your active participation in this forum!

    Once the learner successfully acquires the skills, the coach is no longer needed. Mentoring is development driven. Its purpose is to develop the individual not only for the current job, but also for the future. This distinction differentiates the role of the immediate manager and that of the mentor
